Affiliate Program

The Cottage Copy Writing Studio: The Affiliate Program!

I’m totally honored that you want to be part of my affiliate program, and I can’t wait to get started paying you!

Since affiliate programs can be confusing and make you want to tear your hair out, here’s a quick guide to get you started.

How to Sign Up As an Affiliate:

The original sales page for the class is here.

You can be an affiliate for the entire Writing Studio program, or just one class that you think your audience would really love. To make things easier, here are all the e-junkie links:

Non-Profit Marketing

Artist Marketing

Marketing for Bloggers and Writers

Advanced Marketing (this has been the bestseller from the Studio):

Here’s how it works:

  • Sign up as an affiliate for Cottage Copy (using the links above).
  • Get your personal affiliate number (this is what nets you the cash).
  • Market the program.

    Money Matters:

The price of each class is $350, and the affiliate cut is 28%. That means you earn $100 for every spot you sell. Affiliates are paid on the 20th of each month, and there are no minimums.

    Badges:

Here are the badges and their corresponding codes. Remember, you need to put in your personal affiliate link, or the whole thing goes wonky (Yes, that’s a technical term). If this doesn’t work, just email me and I will try and get my tech guru to solve the problem so you don’t have to pull all your hair out.

    Ways to Make Affiliate Sales:

Here are some quick suggestions of ways to market these courses. The sky is the limit (and I’d love to know the creative things you come up with), but these are some quick and dirty ways to get started.

    1. Blog about the course. Talk about why it’s useful for your audience. Figure out which niches appeal to them and use that course.

    2. Tweet your link or put it on Facebook (but please don’t spam people). Talk about why this is a cool opportunity, or who could really use it.

    3. Email select clients (or your list if you think it has a broader appeal) and tell them why the course would be useful for them.

    4. Ask me for an interview or a blog post. I’ll be happy to throw you a guest post, or do an interview to help you promote these to your audience.

  • Bio:

Holly Jackson is a freelance columnist, writing teacher, and copywriter for brands who want to buck the system and do things their own way. She lives in Mississippi and loves oyster po boy sandwiches and great novels.

  • Testimonials:

“Holly delivers exactly what she promises. The best news is that within a day of posting her copy I had a sale and my sales have been growing ever since.” -Jennifer Stcyzen

“When I started writing the copy for my upcoming design school, I realized pretty quickly that I was not as prepared or as qualified as I wanted to be. I immediately turned to Holly for help, because I love her writing style, and she always understands what it is I need my copy to be, even when I have trouble trying to explain it.” -Rachael Acklin

“I tend to be a control freak, but [with Holly] I never felt like I was losing control of what I was trying to say.” -Avonelle Lovhaug

“We put up two listings for the same product initially: one had my old copy, and one had her new copy. The listing with her new copy sold the next day, when the same product had been up in my store for months with no results!” -Amy Crook
