So, dear readers, here is my situation. I have two very large projects I am trying to finish up, for two very lovely and regular clients. These are both 50k word plus projects, and I am feeling a little rushed off my feet. I love blogging, but right now, I am putting out a call for help.
I need guest posters, and I know you guys are out there.
I get really amazing email from fantastic writers and business people. And quite frankly, I have the sneaking suspicion that most of you are older and wiser than I am, and have a better sense of humor. So what I’m asking (well, somewhat begging for) is this:
I have six days until my Very Big Blog post goes up on the Very Big Scary site. By that point, I need to have finished these projects, met with all my new incoming clients, and redone parts of the site for the new site traffic. In addition, eating and sleeping are positive as well. I’m looking for people to help me cover the blog for the next six days.
As far as I’m concerned, you can post about your pet bird as long as it’s somehow relevant to the things at Cottage Copy. There are the obvious topics: marketing, writing, and running a business, but the sky is the limit. I don’t care if you’re well known or not, or what your business is. Email me a good piece and I’ll run it.
Please don’t be shy. I know how well you guys write from the emails I get, and the Twitter conversations that I have. Don’t be scared to put yourself out there. We’re all friendly and we don’t bite, and guest blogging can be a great way to get your name and your business out there. I love you guys so much, and I can’t wait to hear from some of you and get to know you better.
If you’ve got an idea or a post written out, feel free to email it to me and I’ll get back to you right away. Between the writing and the caffeine making and the occasional shower.
P. S. I’ve gotten a lot of emails from people who want to work with me, but know I’m busy. I’m not to busy to take on new clients, but my schedule has been crazy the last couple weeks. Even if you don’t want work until next month or the month after, please feel free to talk to me and get on my schedule. Especially with the sale going on. I’m all for scheduling in advance, so don’t be scared off by my endless posting about how busy I am!
